I recently came across the logo for the London Symphony Orchestra and for no particular reason I suddenly noticed that what I had taken to be simply the initials LSO also showed a conductor. I love logos with this kind of thing, when your first impression doesn’t necessarily give you the whole picture.
It’s like the kind of optical illusion you get in the old rabbit/duck image. Continue reading
Yes it’s that time of year again and only 87 days to Christmas. Ouch. It doesn’t seem long does it? In my last post I talked about personalising gifts. An associate pointed out to me yesterday that an egoLogo offers her a perfect solution for her clients. For a very reasonable outlay, she can select a range of Christmas gifts for her clients and brand them all herself using the egoLogo system.
As summer draws to an end the shops are beginning to fill not just with Autumn fashions, but reminders about getting ready for Christmas. Preparing for Christmas too early is something I avoid at all costs (despite the fact that my 7-year-old has been writing his letter to Santa since Easter) but this year I’m finding myself examining many of the products and wondering where I could place an egoLogo on them.
One of the earliest adopters of our system is ARA Watchmakers of Manitoba, Canada. They produced a limited edition range of watches for pilots of the Canadian Royal Air Force and needed a system to brand a limited run of watches. They chose egoLogo and here is the result. we think you’ll be impressed.
The RCAF wings are a perfect example of a logo which will work well with our system. It is a single colour, well-defined and a memorable image. The egoLogo system meant that the branding could be done in a cost-effective way using hi-quality components.
Where will you put yours?
A new business launch is always exciting – months of planning finally coming to fruition – and we’re very excited about egoLogo.
What is egoLogo? Well that’s simple – it’s a way of adding your own unique mark to some of your most treasured possessions, making yourself stand out from the crowd or perhaps of personalising a special gift for a loved one.
What images might you use? You can design your own – perhaps a monogram or an image that has special meaning for you. If you haven’t already watched it, this video clip explains everything you need to know! Who’d have thought a snail could be a symbol of romance?
Win with egoLogo – a new Video Contest
To celebrate the launch of egoLogo we’re offering film-makers and story-tellers – amateur and professional – the chance to continue the story, not just to win a cash prize, but the chance for one lucky winner to have their entry produced professionally and used as part of egoLogo’s ongoing promotion.
Does the guy get the girl? Is it a comedy, a chick-flick, a gothic horror? The decision is yours! To find out more about the competition simply visit our Facebook page. Hope to see you there soon and happy story-telling.
